Indigenous Peoples

Learning about Native Peoples

California history is teeming with rich stories involving indigenous culture, immigration, cultivation and colonization. Learning about local tribes that lived and breathed on the land where our schools stand, and discovering how tribal life has continued in our local area to this day, may help bring a sense of connection to learning as well as honor indigenous communities.
